Line Next, a United States-based subsidiary of the popular Asian social app LINE, is making a significant move into Web3 gaming with its Game Dosi platform. The company has revealed a sneak peek of its first five NFT games, set to launch in the second half of 2023.
The upcoming games are Sweet Monster Guardians, Vestria the Last Order (VLO), KEROZ, Drawship Kingdom Reverse and Project GD, an internally-developed IP that will extend across multiple games.
Each title boasts distinctive gameplay mechanics. Sweet Monster Guardians, the first Game Dosi title to offer NFT pre-sales, is a browser-based strategic defense game developed by Movisoft. It revolves around tactically placing unique characters for effective defense.
VLO, developed by SIS Studio, offers a collective role-playing adventure where players can embark on quests together. This PC and Mac game is said to have a Final Fantasy-style atmosphere.
For those inclined towards dungeon-crawling “roguelike” games, KEROZ, created by Superflex, provides an action-adventure experience on both mobile and PC platforms.
Drawship Kingdom Reverse, developed by Nolatency Limited, allows players to earn NFT rewards through avatars, machines, and dolls.
Project GD, a fantasy intellectual property, will be a competitive trading card game with NFT decks of cards, although further details are yet to be released.

Exciting rewards
Game Dosi is set to launch on May 18, with Line Next announcing a membership sale offering gold and platinum-tier NFT passes, granting benefits such as early access to the games.
Under the motto “Gamer First, Web3 Next,” Game Dosi plans to provide NFT rewards from its upcoming Project GD game.
Gamers will be able to acquire these incentives by accomplishing missions posted on the organization’s community website before May 31.
Furthermore, Game Dosi will hold a raffle where participants can win NFT prizes based on the number of Discord sign-ups for the platform. The company also revealed that additional titles featuring globally popular content will be released in the second half of the year.
Game Dosi operates on the Finschia blockchain, previously known as Line Blockchain and Link Chain, with the native cryptocurrency being LINK.
LINE’s other partnerships
This isn’t LINE’s first venture into the world of NFTs. IPX, the parent company of LINE Friends characters, announced a collaboration with Chiru Labs, the creators of Azuki, last week.
Azuki, a profile picture (PFP) NFT project, emerged in the market in early 2022 and quickly became one of the most triumphantly traded projects in terms of volume. According to data from CryptoSlam, Azuki has facilitated an impressive $930 million worth of trades to date.
Building on the success of Azuki, the creators introduced Beanz, a collection of NFT characters inspired by cartoonish beans. Since its launch, the collection has experienced substantial traction, amassing a trading volume of approximately $263 million.
Line Friends originated as a collection of adorable animal characters featured in stickers on the messaging app LINE, created by South Korean internet giant Naver.
Since its inception in 2011, Line Friends has expanded into various ventures, including themed stores, amusement parks, a Netflix series called “Brown and Friends” and a collaboration with renowned K-Pop band BTS.
